The ‘children’s pool’ is a large green area, surrounded by trees in Spaarnwoude. Formerly a public wading pool here has been demolished because of the severe rules of hygiene in public space.
Since then, the green plain is used frequently during summer season by foreigners who come here to recreate with large families.
With the demolition of the wading pool, the other facilities are also removed. The recreation area Spaarnwoude wanted to use this area to give a new impulse and bring back some amenities.
